By downloading, installing, or using ScentPass (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
ScentPass is a personal fragrance journal that allows users to build an olfactory profile, manage a fragrance collection, and share their preferences with perfume specialists. The App is developed and maintained by GanbareLabs, an independent developer.
Creating an account is optional. You may use the App’s core features without signing in. If you choose to sign in with Google, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You retain full ownership of the content you create within ScentPass, including your olfactory profile, fragrance collection, personal ratings, and any notes. By using the App, you grant ScentPass a limited license to store and display this content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We do not claim ownership of your data and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties.
Fragrance catalog data, including names, descriptions, and community ratings, is sourced from Fragella. This data is provided for informational purposes only. ScentPass does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of fragrance information.
Community ratings displayed in the App reflect the Fragella community and do not represent the views of ScentPass or its developer.
You agree not to use ScentPass to:
All design, branding, code, and content created by ScentPass — including the name, logo, and user interface — are the intellectual property of GanbareLabs. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
ScentPass is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities. Use of the App is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GanbareLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use ScentPass, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to ScentPass at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the App, or third parties.
You may stop using the App at any time. If you have an account, you can delete it from the App settings, which will permanently remove your data from our servers.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GanbareLabs resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
